Homeowner.wiki is a programmatic SEO (pSEO) engine that generates hyper-local homeowner guides at scale. Our platform uses government data sources - including US Census, NOAA, BLS, FHFA, and USDA - to produce location-specific content covering permits, zoning, costs, maintenance calendars, and other homeowner topics.
The service includes:
- Automated content generation from verified government data sources
- Location-specific homeowner guides for cities and counties across the United States
- SEO-optimized page templates and publishing tools
- Analytics and performance tracking for generated content
Accounts and Access
To use certain features of Homeowner.wiki, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Homeowner.wiki to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Generate content that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our platform
- Interfere with the operation of our service or overload our infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute access to the platform without authorization
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from our platform beyond normal API usage
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Homeowner.wiki aggregates data from government sources and presents it for informational purposes only. While we strive to keep data current and accurate, you acknowledge that:
- Government data is provided "as-is" and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information
- Local regulations, permit requirements, and costs change frequently and may not be reflected immediately
- You should always verify critical information with your local authorities, licensed contractors, or qualified professionals before making decisions
- Homeowner.wiki is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or construction advice
Intellectual Property
Ownership of content and intellectual property is divided as follows:
- Your content - content generated through your use of the platform belongs to you. You retain full ownership of the output and may use it for any lawful purpose.
- Our platform - the Homeowner.wiki engine, templates, algorithms, design system, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of Homeowner.wiki. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for the duration of your subscription.
- Government data - underlying government data used to generate content is in the public domain and is not owned by either party.
Payment Terms
If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- Early bird pricing - users who join during the early access period receive discounted pricing that is locked in for the duration of their continuous subscription
- Billing - subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select. Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- Refunds - we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable for the current billing period.
- Cancellation - you may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- Price changes - we may adjust pricing for new subscribers. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Homeowner.wiki and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Homeowner.wiki in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship at any time:
- By you - you may cancel your account and stop using the service at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
- By us - we may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay applicable fees. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Content you have already generated and exported remains yours.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the site at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
